Membership & training terms

These terms cover training and membership at Inner Westside Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu ("IWSBJJ", "we", "us"), operated by Inner Westside Brazilian Jiujitsu Pty Ltd (ABN 86 682 260 733) at 63 Norton St, Leichhardt NSW 2040. By training with us or holding a membership you agree to these terms.

Memberships & payment

• Memberships are billed by weekly direct debit in Australian dollars.
• There are no lock-in contracts. You can cancel at any time by giving 4 weeks' notice; the notice period is paid.
• Foundation memberships include a training gi when your first 2 weeks are paid upfront. Foundation pricing is limited to the first 100 members and is locked while your membership stays active.
• Casual visits are $35 per class, payable on the day.
• Prices may change with reasonable notice. Current pricing is always published on our programs page.

Free trial

• New members receive one free trial class, no commitment and no payment details required.
• Trials are booked through our website, by phone, or by email, and confirmed by one of our coaches.

Training & safety

• All members and trial visitors must complete our pre-training medical waiver before their first session.
• Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a contact sport. Train within your limits, follow coach instructions, and treat training partners with care and respect.
• Our uniform is required for gi classes once you're a member. Clean training gear is required for every session.
• We may pause or refuse training where behaviour puts other members at risk. Everyone has the right to train in a safe, welcoming room.

Kids classes

• Kids classes run in age bands: Little Ninjas (3–5), Kids (5–11) and Teens (12+).
• A parent or guardian must complete the waiver for participants under 18, and is welcome to watch classes from the viewing area.
